Manager, Sample Logistics

Job Description

This position manages the entire spectrum of logistics for analytical samples and consumables for the Solvias Group site in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Critical Performance Areas:

• Manages goods receipt of customer samples and consumables
• Registers sample orders in LIMS
• Internally distributes samples

Essential Job Functions:

• Manage the sample storage and consumables warehouse
• Prepare and order shipments of samples to third parties
• Support waste management activities
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

• Laboratory technician with experience in sample logistics, or background as logistics operator with experience in sample handling
• 3 to 5 years’ working experience in logistics / sample handling
• GMP experience
