Job Description

Processing of scientific questions for the analysis of pharmaceutical agents in the GMP regulated environment with focus on elemental analysis by ICP-MS (possibly ICP-OES)
Development of new methods
Performing and planning of scientific experiments, feasibility studies, as well as method development, verification, validations and transfers
Processing of non-standard analytical runs
Documentation of activities and the completion of all tasks necessary to maintain the laboratory and associated instruments
Conformity with GMP regulations for lab work and documentation
Document preparation and review
Hands on troubleshooting in the lab including ICP-MS and ICP-OES instruments
Training of (new) employees

Degree in chemistry or equivalent or experienced laboratory technician with focus on instrumental (inorganic) analytical chemistry
Sound knowledge in atomic spectrometry (ICP-MS, or ICP-OES, AAS) is an advantage
Professional experience in the GMP-regulated environment preferable but no prequisit
Can do attitude / passion and knack for working with instruments
Reliability, initiative and motivation
Very good English and German skills (spoken and written) required
