Scientific Associate Elemental Analysis (m/f/d)

Job Description

  • Processing of scientific questions for the analysis of pharmaceutical agents in the GMP regulated environment with focus on elemental analysis by ICP-MS (possibly ICP-OES)
  • Development of new methods
  • Performing and planning of scientific experiments, feasibility studies, as well as method development, verification, validations and transfers
  • Processing of non-standard analytical runs
  • Documentation of activities and the completion of all tasks necessary to maintain the laboratory and associated instruments
  • Conformity with GMP regulations for lab work and documentation
  • Document preparation and review
  • Hands on troubleshooting in the lab including ICP-MS and ICP-OES instruments
  • Training of (new) employees

Requirements

  • Degree in chemistry or equivalent or experienced laboratory technician with focus on instrumental (inorganic) analytical chemistry
  • Sound knowledge in atomic spectrometry (ICP-MS, or ICP-OES, AAS) is an advantage
  • Professional experience in the GMP-regulated environment preferable but no prequisit
  • Can do attitude / passion and knack for working with instruments
  • Reliability, initiative and motivation
  • Very good English and German skills (spoken and written) required
