Job Description
- Provide strategic and tactical leadership in developing and maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud solutions, storage, and cybersecurity measures
- Lead by example with hands-on involvement in infrastructure projects and troubleshooting complex technical issues
- Develop and implement infrastructure strategies aligned with business objectives and growth plans
- Ensure the infrastructure meets rigorous quality and compliance standards, supporting validation and audit processes
- Establish and manage processes to ensure high availability, disaster recovery readiness, and business continuity
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, proactively identifying and addressing infrastructure risks and opportunities
- Lead infrastructure teams, providing mentorship, guidance, and fostering professional development
- Oversee vendor management, including negotiation of contracts, SLA management, and maintaining effective partnerships
- Develop and manage infrastructure budgets, ensuring cost-effective delivery and optimal resource allocation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in infrastructure management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership capacity
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS), virtualization, networking, and cybersecurity
- Proven track record of delivering infrastructure projects successfully, emphasizing quality, security, and compliance
- Experience within regulated industries (pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences) is highly advantageous
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills
- Strategic thinker with the capability to translate vision into actionable plans
- Hands-on technical expertise combined with visionary leadership

- Strong communicator, capable of effectively interacting across all levels of the organization
