Solvias has no production capabilities exceeding 50l equipment. All our development efforts, our ligands and catalysts designed and produced result in processes operational in your facility or in the facilities of your preferred custom manufacturer. Solvias has a track record for successful technology transfers of large scale enantio-selective transformations.

A whole range of privileged chiral Solvias Ligands are the foundation for your successful homogeneous catalytic process. All of them are available in gram and multi-kilogram quantities within a maximum of two to six months lead time. They exhibit a modular synthesis and can be sterically and electronically tuned to your desired prochiral target.

Solvias also provides a Ligand Kit to facilitate your in-house screening efforts. The Kit contains a growing set of sterically and electronically tuned ligands. Solvias Catalysis Development teams are ready to assist at all stages of your process development. Often complementary screenings, optimization studies, scale up and safety investigations (high pressure RC1) or trouble shooting are carried out at Solvias. However no obligations apply when you apply Solvias Ligands, our expertise and our services are available on an “as needed basis”. 

With Solvias Ligands no cumbersome IP negotiations apply:
Solvias’ Ligands are sold on an “all inclusive” basis. This means that the “catalyst performance” or the “added value generated” using the catalyst are not linked to the catalyst price. Please refer to our attractive Solvias Ligand and Catalyst IP policy.

Complete Sets of Solvias Ligand Families and individual Ligand Family Members are available in research quantities from Strem, Fluka (operational) and Acros (starting August 2003).
