Solvias Signs Research and Development Agreement with Pfizer, Inc.

Basel, Switzerland - Solvias AG announced today the execution of a Research and Development Agreement with Pfizer Inc, Global Research and Development. This agreement will allow Pfizer to access Solvias’ chiral ligand and asymmetric catalysis technology for the process development and manufacture of single enantiomer drugs. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The growing demand for single enantiomer drugs in pharmaceutical development challenges drug manufacturers to find convenient and cost-effective asymmetric production routes.
